This version introduces some modern locations to the game so JFK Airport takes the place of one of the railways from the original game, and you can't buy a property for $60 like you could back when the game first came out in 1903.
The modernisation also includes new music and sound effects. Unfortunately both can become quite annoying after a while and neither can be switched off.
